What it is for
Treats uncomplicated malaria.
How to take it
- Prescription medicine: take it exactly as your doctor or pharmacist told you.
- Swallow with water. Take at the same time each day for 3 days.
When to take it
Take it once a day for 3 days.
Take it with
On an empty stomach, no food for 3 hours before and 3 hours after the dose.
What to avoid
- Food in the 3 hours before and after the dose.
- Tell your doctor if you have heart rhythm problems or take medicines that affect the heart.
- Stopping early.
Possible side effects
Headache, nausea, tiredness, loss of appetite.
Get help if
Fainting, palpitations, fever not better after 3 days, or repeated vomiting: get urgent help.
