What it is for
Quick relief of heartburn and indigestion.
How to take it
Shake the bottle well and measure the dose.
When to take it
Take it after meals and at bedtime, or when symptoms come on.
Take it with
1 hour after meals for best effect.
What to avoid
- Taking other medicines at the same time. Leave 2 hours between an antacid and other medicines.
- Using it daily for weeks without seeing a doctor.
- Tell your doctor if you have kidney problems.
- Using it if you are on a low-salt diet without asking your doctor.
Possible side effects
Loose stools, diarrhoea.
