What it is for
Relieves a dry cough.
How to take it
- Prescription medicine: take it exactly as your doctor or pharmacist told you.
- Swallow the capsule whole with water. Do not chew or suck it, as it can numb your mouth and throat.
When to take it
Take it 3 times a day when needed.
Take it with
With or without food.
What to avoid
- Chewing the capsule.
- Giving it to children under 10.
- Driving if you feel drowsy.
Possible side effects
Dizziness, headache, drowsiness, nausea.

Numbness of the mouth or throat, trouble breathing or swallowing, or rash: get urgent help.
